The Rev 7 has only 10kHz bandwidth whereas the Rev 5 has 20kHz bandwidth 
and a 44.1k sampling rate. I expect the DSP is very different too. 

Both feature the 3 band semi-parametric EQ on the input though, which can be 
useful for shaping the sound.
