I just returned from the SF show, and they started promptly at 8pm, with no opening act, and played for about two hours. Covered all the hits - Numbers, Home Computer, Man Machine, Autobahn, Tour De France, The Model, Radioactivity, Trans Europe Express, Autobahn, Pocket Calculator, The Robots, and Music Non Stop as well and two new tunes, which were a bit disappointing. They sounded heavily influenced by '92-era popular techno. It was a bit disconterting to hear Kraftwerk borrowing from a genre they greatly influenced. Not that the new tracks were bad, but they weren't very innovative. Excellent show, however with some nice props and costumes. The versions of the tracks were closer to the versions on The Mix rather than the originals, but they tweaked things a bit. Music Non Stop and Man Machine stood out the most for me. The opportunity to hear everything on a killer concert sound system made up for any lack of improvisation. Joe
