I don't really find either cd to be drum and bass. I'm thinking that
Child's View came out before the term drum and bass was even coined.
Wouldn't really know how to classify either, but Child's View has a lot of
jazz and Brazilian influence. Mostly instrumental (sax, bass, drums,
guitar) with a few tunes with vocals. The Child's View Remix cd is more of
what I would call IDM. But, since someone previously said that IDM isn't a
type of music, I guess I shouldn't use it as a category (although it works
so well). It's remixed by artists like Aphex Twin, Roni Size, Coldcut, Luke
Vibert, Reflection and The Mad Professor. There's a full review of Child's
