I enjoyed Farmers Manual's performance a lot... Just got into their music and I quite like it... As for the software they use: I know that on the audio side, they heavily rely on pd (pure data) by Miller Puckette. They probably use GEM (Graphics Environment for Multimedia), a pd externals package that uses OpenGL, for their visuals (among other things, of course). I also caught a glimpse of b1257+12, which is another wacky sound app. BTW, did you stay for the whole performance? I had to leave at 1:30 and I wonder if I missed a lot of the sonic assault...
