Jason Williams has just released the seventh record on his Parallel label. It is called "Re" and features Jason under his Velocette guise having his tracks remixed by Kit Clayton, John Tejada and Velocette as well a track revisited from an earlier Velocette release on the Reflective label. Brief thoughts - Tejada's mix is a deep tech-houser. Velocette's mix is a lighter more complex affair. Clayton's mix is a very melodic funky piece of techno. Finally, Clockwork is a nice nu-skool electro track. I'll probably play the Clayton & Velocette mixes most. Another solid release for Parallel. . Velocette: re 12" (Parallel/PRL-006) Tracks: - I Feel... (as REexamined by John Tejada) - Memories for the Future (REthought by Velocette) - I Feel... (REinterpreted by Kit Clayton) - Clockwork (originally REleased on Reflective Records) Forthcoming Parallel label release include: PRL-007 Keek (aka Timeblind): synaptic poon tactic ep PRL-008CD Idiosyncratic Expressions comp cd For more info check the official Parallel label website: http://www.parallelsite.net -->-Lance--- xxxxx@xxxxxxxxx.xxx p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states
