i got this cd , fishcake-the sound of thule, its very good, it says "icelandic minimal audio structures" on the front. has this been discussed here before? it seems to have come out in 1998 maybe. props to Craig/I-Sound of kim's nyc for stickering it "basic channel type stuff from iceland", or something like that and telling me more about it when I asked. similar, but not exacltly b.c type stuff, not quite as minimal, there are few more elements per track, but very nicely evolving/beat driven stuff, still very minimal, i recommend it highly to those trying to expand their b.c./c.r. type stuff, this is a bit more melodic at times, but its well done. anyone have any more info on the artists on this release? what about the label? is it called thulemusic? . i highly recommend NYC people goto mondo kim's over Other if you are looking buy some new stuff, craig's descriptions on the cds are quite great, and he's (a mananger) really knowledgeable , nice guy...if you want to get some new stuff thats good, and you havent heard much about it here etc. they also have turntables upstairs now, that you can listen to stuff on..somtimes kims is a few dollars cheaper than Other, not always, but usually at least comparable.. ok, anyone out there have any opinions on sony PCM-M1 vs Tascam DAP1 dats? e-mail me privately. anyone have a cz101 or dx100 they want to sell? know where i can get one? thanks, again, privately obviously. andy ___________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail.
