Don't know who the hell these guys are, or where they come from (well,
Denmark, literally) but their album "The Hi-Fi Companion" (Plasma/Pagoda) is
a really amazing contribution to lush, melodic IDM.  I hear snippets of
Boards of Canada, SAWI-era Aphex Twin...  

Great palette -- nice use of world-music sampling w/o sounding like a
fucking Putumayo cd.  Just hints of added textures over crisp IDM beats and
deep, rich melodies.  I can't imagine anyone who likes the emotional side of
BoC not just eating this up.

Additionally, I'm listening more and more to that Binger the Voyager album
(the one with Hans/Hab), and I've come to the conclusion that it is indeed
the first great IDM pop album.  Really.
