It probably will fix the relative volume drop on engaging the pedal but the signal level will be lower on both the wet and dry settings. And by lowering the output level on the 303 you also have to turn up the gain on the D+ for the same sound. I've been thinking about making a nice little distortion pedal. Maybe now is the time.
