with the female vocalists issue__ think carl craig [in ner zone orchestra], john beltran etc etc. female [& male] voices can form an incredibly moving & beautiful partnership with machine sounds [did i hear a female vocal on luke slater's recent lp?] if anyone believes they [plaid] are interested in selling a few thousand xtra copies by the inclusion of bjork's voice box __please think [& listen] again__ * if they [plaid] were compromising artistic integrity [or selling out] they would [which they will not] repress _mbuki mvuki_ on vinyl [only 500 were pressed in 1991] & cd [only vinyl originally] * one half of the plaid would not be about to move back in with his parents because he's skint they are not remotely interested in selling out. like somebody already mentioned, they write music purely for themselves & those around them; not ignorant fucks who *prefer* non-vocal electronica please, let's sew this thread up__ peace np__studio 1 [tan]
