I support all the great comments about haujobb on this list. I think they're fantastic ... I first heard about them when the US domestic release of Homes & Gardens was released ... i think there was an ad on the back of an Isolation Tank catalog .. In any event, i still love that album (their first) .. it is more "industrial" and some have said they're picking up where skinny puppy left off -- i don't quite get the reference except maybe for the intricate placement of samples ... but the vocals are much different (although still in a stream-of-consciousness fashion). Their consequent releases are great (although i don't have _matrix_). They're much more idm-ish and beat-driven in the dance music/techno sense. But there's just something amazing about Homes & Garden that i can't put my finger on. Maybe it's because the album is a breath of fresh air amidst a torrent of industrial/aggrocore releases that pride themselves in beginning with a silly sample and then barraging the listener with sampled and sequenced guitars that continue ad infinitum. Quite honestly, i get bored quickly with that. So check out Homes & Garden if you'd like to get a bit darker with some excellent vocals and samples .... an excellent release in my opinion ... take care .. and happy shopping ... sean. onnow -- Coldcut "Let Us Play"
