(idm) Kiss My Vox... erm, Arp.

Hey kids. I'm back, who's glad?

For various (mostly travel-related) reasons I haven't kept up with this list
for the last few months. I just went grep'ing through the last 3 months'
worth of posts and all the discussion I could find on Andrea Parker's "Kiss My
Arp" album was Brock Phillips a month ago wanting to know about an instrumental
version of it, because he didn't want to buy it since he "heard vocals were
pretty heavy on it." And other than that, nothing.

Wow.

I can't get this thing out of my CD player.

Yes, there are vocals. Lots of 'em, even. And I don't like vocals.

The difference is - Andrea can *sing*. She's got pipes. And it *works*.
I can't explain it. It just does.

I honestly don't think I ever sit there and think "Gee, this track would be
great if only there weren't Those Confounded Vocals ruining it." (Although, to
be fair, I've never quite gotten used to the melancholia of "Rocking Chair".)

In short: this album *rules*. She's still an IDM Goddess Extraordinaire.
