Merzbow trainspotters might want to keep an eye out for their contribution
to the _Trax 0983_ compilation LP, a project from ~ '83/'84 which featured
various noise artists doing national anthems, real and imagined. Their
track (Akita & H. Kawagishi) essentially sounds like a New Order/Factory
tribute. Dunno what was going through their minds at the time (2/83- by
contrast, _Material Action 2 NAM_ circa '82 is the typical early Merzbow
junk loops), but it's certainly an unusual (and quite danceable) sidebar.
Comp also features P16.D4, DDAA, Renaldo and the Loaf, Naif Orchestra,
etc... "the usual suspects." I guess you know if you need it.
