It is definitely not a poly in the classic sense. I have a PER chained to it= and in some cases this is way too many voices=20 It can do a lot, probably too much, so I only use a tiny subset of it, but t= he front panel and sequencer makes the difference. The newer, more analog DS= I's with this sequencer are different kinds of poly too I use it more as an 8-voice harmonic drum machine. With a 4x16 and delay lin= es on each voice, lots of motion is possible. If I did a do-over: MEK and a P= ER; a Pro-2 and a big Euro rack to drive with it=20 Really not a luscious pad poly > On Jan 6, 2018, at 1:01 PM, foRUMS 4 punkdISCO <xxxxxx@xxxxxxxxx.xx.xx> wr= ote: >=20 > Im probably alone on this one but: I had a MED and loved it (apart from th= e interface) so "upgraded" to a PEK which then got sold after years of non-u= se. I came to the conclusion that for me the Evolver does not work well as a= poly but is a great mono. >=20 > I now want a MEK.. >=20 > Paul > London > www.punkdisco.co.uk >=20
