During the summer I found myself driving to work through downtown Chicago every day...... discs I couldn't rip out of my stereo if I tried include: Plaid - Rest Proof Clockwork (Nothing) (though I was always skipping between tracks 1,2,7 and 10) BleepbloopRadio presents: Intellect / Esthetic (Cdr) (almost a shameless plug, though dammit I think it rocks) Terry Lee Brown Jr. - Terry's Cafe (Plastic City) Luke Slater - Freek Funk (NovaMute) Friend - Hotrod (Dot) Adam X - Mastermix Vol. 2 (Wax Trax) and for nearly a month I listened to Tom Middleton's "Jedi's Night Out" mix CD on DMC/Mixmag. I find myself veering towards house-y 4/4 mix discs while I'm driving.... the more minimal the better.... though that Adam X disc, while certainly rough and banging, is still nice driving music. Aaron np: all my autechre remix mp3's.... this previous thread got me going.....
