I hate it when short quotes are taken out of context,
especially when they're not accurate. I like
twitchy, but am bored by glitchy.
Just so there's no misunderstandings, my displeasure was
with one of my favorite bands (MoM) descending into
the Ninth Circle of Hell (DSP plugin fuckery) Here's
hoping they come out alive.
I'm just hoping that the novelty will wear off with
the currently in-vogue DSP techniques and that
people will start to do something more creative
with them, rather than just iterating the
"cuisinart" filter or whatever over sections
of their tracks.
