It's where I first saw Alex Patterson, RDJ and the rephlex guys Djing, loads of warp acts live. They do a really good job, it's one of the few places in Italy where they do great idm nights withthe boggest acts. That said, may I warn anyone going to the distorsonie festival that the lineup (a stormer indeed, Lance) may not be complete on the day of the event, and that due to quite a few technical problems not all things advertsied to be there will actually be done. We (TABLE) played at this festival two years ago (see http://www.tinet.ch/table), and great things were planned, including live video conferences with mille plateaux etc, that never happened. It was great to be there, and they do make a lot of efforts, but sometimes their programmes contain, ahem, too many things. Anyway, if you happen to be around Bologna, be sure to check out what they are doing, because there is a strictly idm gig at least twice a month.
