I have to completely disagree with this. While unconventional perhaps by SE standards, I would hardly call the melodies weak and the production/ sounds cheezy. I think both are very strong. If you have a fixed mindframe about how SE should sound then do not get this record. If you want to have a fun hour of listening and like a Plaid or Orb type sound, get this record. I don't like to even compare this release to Plaid or Orb, as it is not derivative at all, but that's the best example I can come up with right now. I really liked the dub track. Perhaps Via Nostra has a similarity to the TLS album Stay Down in that it has it's own quirky sound that is playful at times, but does not sound like anything out right now. For me it is these types of records that I don't 'figure out' right away that keep my attention over the long haul... all MHO Nate On Mon, 19 Apr 1999, Adrien Artzt wrote: > a change of style is right!
