Ah ha - that explains your trim appearance; I've only seen them 14 or so
times.

They used to play more straightforward versions of live stuff. For
instance, when I first saw them in November 1993 I'm sure they played a
reasonably unadulterated version of Basscadet (although Incunabula was
only released a week later so I didn't know it at the time). Having said
that, there was another track that night which has never been released to
my knowledge.

They moved towards different versions of existing tracks e.g. Nine from
Amber was extended and given a rhythm track at Sankey's Soap once. A
search through the archives for November 1st 1995 will reveal my shoddy
mini-review and Mr. Eden's better review of their (free!) live set at the
Hallamshire Hotel in which it is stated that elements of Djarum were
incorporated into a new song.

>From around 1996 onwards they have sometimes taken elements of released
tracks but always made something new from them. In the current set there
is a rather different take on _tilapia_ and the last track from _Envane_,
surrounded by all new material which will never, in all probability, be
released.

Quite so.

Yes, that's the question I was going to ask. Skipped through it again
last night and was struck by the absence of greatness.

It seems the Musik aus Strom stuff from last year is being distributed
properly in the UK if people want to buy it (Glob, Andre Estermann and
Demon. 1 - worth it for the Boards remix).
