I almost completely agree, just a few quibbles. First off, BRA is funny. On the other hand, I don't think other "funny" artists like Fatboy Slim really have a sense of humor, or at least not a very good one. That being said, i can forgive BRA for all their faults because of their sheer goofiness. I don't really think they have much funk, not even on par with the Chems first album (IMO!!!! no flames). And despite the sheer info overload in their songs, they do seem to run out of ideas--most of the songs are too long, and without funk, it bugs me a little. You get the sense that they're laughing the whole time they're recording, which is by no means a bad thing. I just hope they can take it to the next level--compose a really funnky album--then they'd be the big beat kings, and the ghosts of the Poppies would smile down upon us all. Sam
