lekebusch peaked in quality with his early hybrid years IMHO, nowadays =
it's just boring sad drumcodeish stuff with a few exceptions, like the =
somewhat dubby 'stealin music'-album released under the name mr. james =
barth, but that one didn't stick on me either.. so, duh, i'd say he used =
to be more interesting.. hybrid used to be rockin minimal: danijel =
alpha, alexi delano (who these days produces boring stuff too, IMHO), =
jean-louis huhta, crushed insect & sick puppy, ron maney, akilah bryant. =
stopped releasing good music about a year ago when the abstract soul =
(jana clemen) album and the 'sons & daughters of the rising' 4x12" =
collection came out.. sons & daughters freaked out a bit mixing all =
kinds of styles like d'n'b (never ever even released on hybrid before), =
hiphop and such.. guess that was what triggered it. after that he =
changed cat. nr. and the newer releases all sounded like drumcode.. =
