hmm as much as i respect your sheffield knowledge adam ;-) It was a
'disobey'
night at the leadmill in about January 96... i suppose it could have
been march..
and it was free.... it was kind of a sahko/squarepusher night....
Panasonic were
on first...definately.... i remember they had two tv sets.. one on
either side of the
stage on the bass bins... they were both switched to the test mode where
you get a
single white vertical line up the screen...these white lines wobbld
oscillated and
danced in time with panasonic... and then Jimi Tenor came on....and then

squarepusher.... i thought it was very early 1996, becuase the only
squarepusher
id heard were the two spy eps and stereotype. Isnt Bruce Gilbert some
old
geezer? maybe 40+? in that case he was Djing after squarepusher...
perhaps
you got there too late for panasonic....? :-)
