you guys got it all wrong. the real way to mix is to use a 60-minute type-1 tape & attempt to cut the tunes around the "right" place when you record. extra bonus for special tape tricks (use the ffwd & rewind buttons, or invent your own tricks, i.e. my tape deck would speed up the tape while recording when pressing the "pause" key slightly, which would make for a very slowed-down sound on tape) or for tape bugs (use a really old one that's been re-recorded over for around 4-5 times. better even, use this technique to record your own live music, & when you're done, send the results to diskono. -- david turgeon at http://www.notype.com
