Thanks Florian, you put me on to Harald's amazing software before and
I use it extensively.

Both with an Atari ST running on the Mist FPGA and a real 1040ST with a Gotek drive.

Its flawless.

Sadly, I have a library of old stuff from 1989 done in SoundFiler ST and the 
encoding
of the data is indecipherable to me.

I am expecting 12 bit samples packed into 16 bit works. Halald's code does this.
The Drumware code is doing something else.

It would even be nice to see the file format of the Drumware format.

Eventually I will stumble on a solution but it will take time better spent going 
to shows,
building synths and sleeping.
