As previously mentioned, Panasonic AKA Pan Sonic will be playing live at a
special midnite show in Minneapolis on Saturday, October 17th at the Walker
Art Center.

This is in conjunction with Mika's and Ilpo's participation, along with
approx. 20 other artists from far and wide, in the Walker-organized exhibition
_Unfinished Histories_. In addition to their opening-night performance
(limited to 350 owing to the size of the space in which they'll be situated),
they'll also have a gallery installation which will be accessible for the run
of the exhibition. I actually spent a few minutes strolling through the three
expansive galleries devoted to the show this afternoon and it's already
shaping up to be a pretty impressive array of visual and aural stimuli.

For those who plan to attend, the Pan Sonic performance itself will be
ticketed separately from the opening festivities, so make sure you specify if
you purchase tickets over the phone ($7 members, $10 non-members). The Walker
box office phone is 612-375-7622, and the website is at >
http://www.walkerart.org <

The Walker is located adjacent to the Guthrie Theater and the Minneapolis
Sculpture Garden on the southeastern edge of downtown Minneapolis.
