Hrrm. There was also a legit Brain issue on CD (in the early/mid 90s back
when they actually did this kind of thing- I think Guru Guru's _Kanguru_
was the only other title of interest that made it out this way). It was
about $16 (look for the "Special Low Price" sticker), appeared to be from
master tapes and used to be available from FE a long time ago.

I also heard that there was a super budget line issue of the first Faust
on a German label whose product was typically displayed in the check-out
lines of supermarkets.

Agreed that _Deluxe_ was kind of a let down. I don't know if MVH would
make my top five of that "scene" (which would most likely be populated
with boring unDM records like _Yeti_, _Malesch_ et al), though Cluster
_II_ probably would. One could (if fed a lot of drugs) make a claim that
_II_ was an attempt to do IDM using guitars and non-sequencer electronics.
Surely there are few better things in the world than the languid unfolding
phasing of "Fur Immer" (only a disappointing 14 minutes long, goddamn it-
"This is the most blatant case of false advertising since my lawsuit
against _The Neverending Story_"...).

(One and a half months late, sorry),
