I'd like to add some info: Ivan Iusco (the man behind IT end Disturbance)
told me that the quality is poor because
1) yes, picture discs are bad
2) the quantity of audio on the record is quite a lot and this makes the
grooves thinner and subtracts dynamics (I never actually took the time to,
ahem, time the lot).
Having said that, I have no clue why he chose to do it that way anyway (an
answer is in the pipeline though).

Anyone who has gone to check out the above URL will have noticed that I
honestly state the poor condition of the record anyway, as I like to do
honest deals.
I totally agree with laerm on the sound quality nedded for such work (btw,
laerm, thanks for, ehm, "plugging" my trade list :-> ). Better on cd. But
you won't get the picture, though :)
