The Berlin museum is a wonder to behold. They have representation of the entire beginning of keyboard instruments. A 500 year old Spinnet had my attention for half an hour. They also have Oskar Sala's trautonium (or possibly a remake?) So basically they cover the beginning of keys and semitones right until the beginning electronic synthesizers and music. There is also a very large mechanical automatic orchestra. Its worth it for anyone here on AH to check this place out.
