I'm actually in the process of doing this very thing. Since I don't
know what you have, I'll tell you what I am reccomending to my friend,
who is a *true* newbie (Sorry Jim, but you are. :) ) :

 Autechre : Amber
Aphex Twin : Selected Ambient Works II
 WARP : Artificial Intelligence I
 WARP : Artificial Intelligence II
 Speedy J : Public Energy #1
 Plastikman : Consumed
 Seefeel : Quique

These were based on what were mostly my introduction to IDM, and
things which I enjoy most thouroughly. I can't guess as to whether
these are all things you already have, or not. I consider them all
to be excellent albums, and they are all widely available.

I would also keep in mind when reading this list that a HUGE amount
of the stuff discussed is not easily obtained, and not very common.
This doesn't mean it's not excellent music - it just means that
a limited number of people will have heard it, and it must be
 sought out. Good luck. :)
