> SeedyNow doesn't use Muze. they have > some shady freebie deal with the AM#@$!G. I wouldn't call our deal with CDNow shady. They license the information we've gathered, as do quite a few other online stores. Besides, every CDNow album page you scan states: "Portions of content provided by All-Music Guide" at the bottom. We're not trying to sell anything to average consumers on our web-site, and the money we get (no freebies, though it'd be nice) from the technical side enables us to write about all the records we like. To stay on-topic though, our AMG database is more complete than any others I've seen online, and it does take a lot of work to not only add new information, but to keep the errors to a minimum... Still, I think we do it pretty well, and I end up using our website every day for recommendations on music I want to learn more about. (speaking of, does anybody have any old Willie Colon or Ray Barretto records on Fania they want to sell me?). ;) No flames, just facts... .John.
