Those guys from (2/5) Can sucked!!!! It would be tough to decide who
is worse them or Spinal Tap. I have had some of Can's CDs and they
have done some interesting stuff. Last night was not the slightest bit
interesting, just bad 70s rock.

Lexanculpt vs Brad Laner was really cool!! It was the first time I had
ever heard them after much hype on IDM. Alex deserves the respect he
gets on IDM. It was a very good experimental set, leaning in the
direction of artists like Autechre. While I like alot of the stuff
Bard Laner has done in the past, I think I could have done without
some of the squelchy noise that he used. Nevertheless it was still
very cool. Too bad it was so short.

I thought Mark Spyvie was a little better than Brock gave him credit
for. I wasn't expecting to like him that much because I wasn't too
into the Dead Voices on Air and the Not Breathing/Dead Voices On Air
material. I was surprised that I liked it. It certainly wasn't the
best thing that I heard, but it was pretty cool.
I thought he did a pretty good job, and he defintely had some good
moments.

Two-Fifths of Can....did they have a name for that band? Was not
experimental at all, or even slightly interesting. It was for the most
part 70s crap! We gave them a chance by sitting through a couple of
songs, and they were just getting worse.
