>I've just seen Red Snapper's "Reeled and Skinned : The Snapper, Swank and Hot Flush EP's" stickered "new >release" but dated 1995 (Warp).

>I love Prince Blimey : any comments on this release?

No real radical difference in sound from Prince Blimey, but that's
anything but a criticism...

> Must I have it?

Yes!

> Is it wonderful?

Yes, although maybe not quite as wonderful Prince Blimey's infinite
sublimity. But if your ears are growing tired of the former, pick it up,
you certainly won't regret it. The type of music they make is not too
thick on the ground, so I rarely get bored of it (oldsters may list
their 70s jazz/funk legends now, and prove me wrong...)

Anyone know what the Snapper are up to now? I heard they were trying out
some new ideas with different musicians and maybe rappers (ugh), but I
don't remember exactly what they were planning to do. I liked their
remix of David Holmes 'Gritty Shaker' - drum 'n' double bass
sweetness...

Gb.

np: Axis Compilation - The Other Day
nl: Company Flow - Funcrusher Plus (a Plaid reccommendation, no less!).
