I've actually gone down to my local independent store and informed them of the upcoming releases (tomorrow and of the new squarepusher). They were completely in the dark (although they were also in regards to the BoC release until several people inquired) They said they would try real hard to get in touch with the distributors and try and get them asap but said that they had no info on it so weren't sure if it was an immediate thing that they could pick up... Unless your independent local is 'idm aware', you might be better off doing what I'm going to try and do and hit some of the better chain stores... They seem to just have this 'blank order' in which they bring in one or two of the new releases that aren't big names when it comes to major labels. Perhaps I'm completely off base with this thinking, but worth a try. Nothing is pretty big imo, so this may be the case. The local Best Buy has been doing this lately with Astralwerks, Thrill Jockey and Invisible (recent stuff on the shelves never there before has included Wagon Christ's Throbbing Pouch and the *import* Power of Love, SpacetimeC., U-ziq, Microstoria, Oval, etc... all stuff I honestly am surprised to find...)
