Just back from Thomas Brinkmann set at Sona.
I'm right now smiling, (or one of them) man on this stupid planet.
Mostly because contacts was easy with both Thomas and Brendon. We spoke
with Thomas after the set to figure further venues in other context (clubs
are not the right place for such people and music, clubbers just waiting
for fast tempos to be able to feel the E or to whistle dramatically without
any feelings to the music)

about the show......because of a stupid Underworld concert, Thomas set
began in front of only few people, some ravers with whistles (whistling
would be forbidden, if you ask me) with new pieces from Max Ernst.... the
final warfare some new tracks from both 2 Max eps by Marcus Schmickler and
Thomas, heavy fats tempo acidic minimal tracks..AMAZING, raving the club as
I haven't heard anything since ages. And through all these, deconstruction,
interesting sounds built with multiple sources, records of his own (all of
them are for minimal trackers a MUST), 2 sequencers coupled to turnables on
which his squared knive cut eps are playing. The result is a 2 hour and a
half show with a permanent increasing slope, amazing textures and
structures.

And even if the set was far from what I expected, Studio 1, Concept
1...remixes I'm used to listen in the comfort of my home, happily it turned
in a dancy experimental set, because some attitudes between clubbers would
have annoyed me so much, that I did prefer to see them bumping to the roof
instead to complain.
