does anyone else think mr jenkinson's drumming is leaden? with 'music is one rotted note' and 'budakhan mindphone' (haven't heard maxi priest' yet) he moves into quite interesting territory, evoking some kinda late 60's early 70's jazz thing. but I gotta say, his drumming is good enough to evoke a certain genre but offers little of the pleasure of really good jazz drumming. It's kinda flat, doesn't swing, stays on top of the beat where it should probably be behind it, isn't accomplished enough to have the sort of rhythmic and dynamic nuance it needs. By the end of MIORN, I always feel like the drum parts are just dragging and dragging. He should just hire Elvin Jones next time. kurt
