On this topic, personally, contrary to the (wonderful) cut up mayhem that the rest of the mixes contain, my favorite mix of this set is the J. McEntire Tortoise mix. Really smooth, dubby, and with atmosphere. I find myself pulling that piece of vinyl just to hear that mix.I haven't been exposed to too much Tortoise's stuff (except for some remix/collaborations). Can someone who has heard both please compare the above remix with their native sound?
