I found another Detroit comp. with Shake tracks. The comp features 3 Shake tracks, 1 Underground Resistance track, and a super SHITE Kevin Saunderson track. I guess NSC was the pressing plant for alot of the early Detroit records. There is a story about how Plus 8 01 and UR 01 were pressed by these guys. There is only one really GOOD track by Shake called NSC Tracker. It's more on the minimal techno side, but quite good! The next track is pretty decent and the other is pretty blah. The Underground Resistance track is ok, but not really my cup of tea. And the Kevin Saunderson track is total shite. The only reason (besides the cool Shake track) I mention this comp is because it looks like they are going to do a series of releases. I assume they will stick to Detroit producers. Who knows maybe Carl Craig or Claude Young will be next? Or even Richie Hawtin? Both 12"s are coloured vinyl, one features more Alan Oldham artwork, the other an old (1959) advertisement on how to make records at home. _________________________________________________________ DO YOU YAHOO!?
