I was at the matmos, lesser, and slicker show here in cleveland last week and really enjoyed it. matmos did a long set of very fresh innovative electronica including a nice 25 minute mellow steel guitar segment reminscent of parts of The West ep. Lesser also did a great set filled with some blistering breaks and brutal bass but with a very live feel to it. Slicker was the biggest suprise. He played all new material. I enjoyed his Confidence in Duber cd that came out last year but this new stuff is truely amazing. He adds some really nice melodies to his eclectic electronic mayham. I guess it's coming out later this year along with a Slicker remix cd with a lot of big name idmers taking stabs are remixing Slicker tracks. Regardless, epect big things from Slicker very soon. -->-Lance--- xxxxxxx@xxxx.xxx xxxxx@xxxxxxxxx.xxx p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states
