it takes a hell of a lot more effort to scratch the record :DD

it's like building muscles there ;)) .. but generally, you can't just move
it back and forth as easily as you would.. and we all know the more pressure
you put on something, the less stable and accurate your movements are,
because there's resistance put on by the vinyl (it being heavier)

of course I would hardly consider myself a master dj, or even a decent one,
but, just I can't imagine how you could just scratch it back and forth as
accurately, it being heavier.. when I've tried it always skips and I can't
get the vinyl going at the right speed instantly, etc.

it's the same thing, like when you buy a new sl-1200.. you can't use the
slipmat that comes with it, coz it takes a muscleman to backcue with that
thing :DD
