Thanks for the tip.

I just finished the surgery and the 2032 holder went in so perfectly
that I will just go with that for now.

Hoping this battery won't vomit acid everywhere like the last 2 batteries.

I removed C40 and R91, replaced R91 with a 1N4148.

Checked the voltage across the RAM chip and its ok.
(2V to 5.5V needed for data retention, very forgiving)

Mine has a Toshiba 5514APL-3 memory chip. The standby current
consumption at higher than room temperature is rated 1uA and the CR2032
(as you stated) is 200000 uAh so that gives me 200000 hours
or 22 years assuming no leakage or other factors.

If it had the higher power 5514AP chip then it pulls 20uA which gives only
10000 hours or 14 months with a CR2032... not very good.

Lucky for me, mine has the APL RAM chip so I should be ok.
