In fact, he was so mad that on the day after he thrashed his MIDI controller
-both feet joined in stomping- like a post-grunge IDM-Cobain at the end of a
realy hot "Musique Actuelle" set with Montreal's Martin Tetrault.
Or was it more like Reznor's DX7 bashing?

Anyway, it was an awesome night set in a private loft in Plateau Mont-Royal.
David Kristian played (what sounded to me like) live impros with two Cello and
Luth scratchers. Low synth drones, leaving space for the higher pitch stuff that
the other guys played.

He later came back on mid range sound scapes with Martin Tetrault,
the turn-tablist that uses vary-speed 2-arm decks and delay stomp boxes.
For those of you interested in low-fi crackle loops mostly
originating from custom scratched blank vinyls, I suggest you check-out:

On the Ambiances Magnetiques label web page.

Overall a truely an amasing set!
I'll try to ask him next time if the controler bashing was
an "artistic statement" Cough! Cough!
Or more a vengeange over faulty gear.
I know that pisses me off, especially live.
