Last week's Wild Kingdom grab-bag is chronicled at
http://www.kfjc.org/music/playlist.php?i=31105 .

This week's show is fourth in a series of "Dutch Treat" shows
highlighting some aspect of Lowlands techno. The last three treats
featured Eevolute, 100% Pure, and U-Trax/Phoq U. Tonight's show is a set
of dirty Dutch electro, dredged from the festering sewers and squalid
squats of Rotterdam, Den Haag (Murder Capital!), and other seedy
Lowlands locales. It's the dirtiest - you'll never feel clean again.

Today is also the kick-off for KFJC's 2008 fundraiser (this is how we
pay bills and keep stuff fixed and buy neat music no one's sent us just
yet - that's a hint, producers and label-meisters ). I'll be pitching
relentlessly tonight and in the coming weeks. Give us money so we can
shut up and get back to the music, since we're gonna keep hammering away
until we make our nut. Donations can be tendered at 650-941-6800 and on
line at www.kfjc.org .

"The Wild Kingdom" airs on KFJC-FM 89.7, Saturday night/Sunday
Morning, 12A-3A (7A-10A GMT). Potential listeners outside the San
Francisco Bay area can find a webcast at www.kfjc.org (follow the
links). Present and past Wild Kingdom playlists are also archived there.
You can also check out archived playlists from my first KFJC show "Just
Desserts" that aired on Fridays 10P-2A from 1992 through 1999. Archived
playlists exist for that show starting from Fall 1995 to New Year's Eve
1999/2000.

If you do tune in (especially via the web), please take a little time to
let me know your locale. I'm also interested in promo music from all
over and in promoting local (San Francisco Bay area) techno-type events.
If you want to do some promotion for an event, contact the KFJC
promotions department at xxxxx@xxxx.xxx to arrange ticket giveaways
and/or to send information for inclusion in our concert outlook. Thanks
to those who have sent promo music so far.
