I have not heard this 7 inch but this is my two cents: Surgeon - balance as the title implies this album balances techno with the abstract. To me this is his best album. Surgeon has said in interviews that he was influenced by experimental artists (such as coil) and from this album it becomes aparent. Surgeon - basic tonal vocabularly. More slamming than balance (in fact it precedes balance). Hard mills' like beats with an odd sense of melodies. One of the tracks reminds me of the south seas. It is actually a very good album if you like techno. And I do. There is also a previous album that I do not have. Also there is a host of 12 inch singles but I do not have access to them at work.
