Is the web site gone, or is Rephlex gone? Different questions. The Rephlex site hadn't worked properly for ages even before it disappeared (which was a few months ago!). In all honesty, my hunch is that GWC decided that everything rephlex.com did was already done better by discogs; so why not just cut it? Save money; save hassle. -- --arturius qewpie that which is, is wat http://www.ricedoutrecords.com/ On 9/12/2014 10:21 AM, Clint Anderson wrote: > nah thats all there is at this time > he doesnt come out and say why he closed rephlex but the impression i get > is that they were releasing everything they wanted to, when they wanted to, > and it was adding up to a huge amount of work and expense > he seems pretty happy with Warp in general, although obviously the cover > art is an allusion to how ridiculous some of the costs of promoting an > album are > > > Clint Anderson > Systems Engineer > > On Fri, Sep 12, 2014 at 9:19 AM, Esa Ruoho <xxxxxxxx@xxxxx.xxx> wrote: > >> Clint, I did see a reddit thread about OOR outtakes. but if there is a >> full-on interview online, do tell, Clint. >> >> >> http://www.reddit.com/r/aphextwin/comments/2f0rmc/new_interview_outtake_from_oor_magazine/ >> >> >> On 12 September 2014 17:14, Clint Anderson <xxxxxx@xxxxx.xxx> wrote: >> >>> the OOR interview explains something about that >>> >>> i cant repost it tho as Esa will smash his computer >>> >>> >>> Clint Anderson >>> Systems Engineer >>> >>> On Thu, Sep 11, 2014 at 5:53 PM, Jon Sands <xxxxxxxxx@xxxxx.xxx> wrote: >>> >>>> On 9/11/2014 5:47 PM, Artie Qewpie wrote: >>>> >>>>> >>>>> Rephlex bought discogs, and there's no sense in paying for two web >>>>> servers >>>>> >>>> >>>> uhhhhh >>>> >>>> -- >>>> Jon Sands >>>> Fohdeesha Media >>>> http://fohdeesha.com/ >>>> >>>> >>> >> >
