dear all,
i realize i may have to lift some pretty heavy rocks to find this information, especially as certain tidbits tend to lose themselves in translation but here goes:
going to Taiwan in August- does anyone here happen to know (or know anyone who may know) of any places in Taipei where i can go to check out some elements of the Taiwanese subculture? musical or otherwise? electronic or otherwise? ie. shops, clubs, galleries, cafes, opium dens etc?
colourful places, black and white places... or at least where i might rent a moped at a reasonable price?
any help is happily received and appreciated.
