Hot on the heels of his excellent Midwest ep, Jake Mandell returns with a new 15-track album on the Worm Interface label called Parallel Processes. I've just given it a quick listen so far but, suffice to say, it's excellent. They style is a weird mutated electronica/slow breaks/d&b thing with lots of oddly funky melodies and strange chord combos that gives it a very unique sound. This album will be of interest to fans of Spymania, Squarepusher, and previous Worm Interface/ Jake Mandell releases. The tracklisting is: .
