And why the "import ban" if they're not > going to release it? to clear this one up once and for all (i hope). someone did announce that nothing were to release the 'new autechre'. it was then *speculated* n the list that it *may* include ep's like the plug release of "drum'n'bass for papa". as "chiastic slide" had only recently been released by warp everyone assumed: 'new autechre' = "chiastic slide" it was then posted that 'new autechre' in fact meant the 'next autechre' i.e. the recently released "lp5". i don't think anyone has ever announced that nothing would release "chiastic slide", tho' i'm not saying this will never happen, i wouldn't hold your breath (for either of them). -martin
