Aquarius Records is always a must-stop for me when I'm in SF. Small, but met= iculous in it's curation.=20 Also, while not a record store, Robotspeak on Haight St is run by some folks= that are truly dedicated electronic music fans and they usually have a line= on the more niche/underground stuff that's not widely publicized. And if yo= u're into synthesizers and electronic music gear, you'll geek out there for h= ours!=20 Sent from my iPhone > On Oct 20, 2015, at 6:31 PM, Brian Behlendorf <xxxxx@xxxxxxxxx.xxx> wrote:= >=20 > I got nothing too IDM-specific in the way of specific live acts happening w= hile you're here, but Grimes plays on the 31st, she sold out the Fillmore (2= nights) which is pretty remarkable for someone who gets essentially zero ai= r play or label promotion. >=20 > As for record stores, check out Mikebee's fabulous Vinyl Dreams on Haight n= ear Steiner - one of the last true DJ record stores in the whole area run by= real music fans.
