I've never heard anything by them before, I was always led to >beleive they were more abrasive and industrial than what i prefer. > Yes, some of the Skinny Puppy stuff is fairly abrasive, but Doubting Thomas is missing Ogre, SP's singer and a main cause of SP's abrasiveness. Download and Doubting Thomas are also more electronic than alot of SP albums, although the 2 download cds i have; Furnace, and The Eyes of Stanley Pain have Genesis P'Orridge (of Psychic-TV) doing annoying vocal bits over several of the tracks. Luckily III is missing this. >Is this Download project similar to SP's sound? >And are there any other projects beside Doubting Thomas I should check into? > >Thanks all... > > Of Skinny Puppy stuff, I would recommend checking out some of the older stuff, like Bites, or Remission. There is also a double cd that has one cd of older stuff that is amazing. np: Plug - Drum n' Bass For Papa (the second disc of collected eps is way better than the full length IMHO) Brian e-mail: xxxxxxxxx@xxxxxxx.xxx ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com
