It's the "very pleasant and nice" sound of the Plod material which endears me to their sound. I don't think that making things "a little crazier" would improve them at all. In fact, i believe it would detract from their sound because IMHO there are too many producers now making things "a little crazier." Acts like Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, Mu-Ziq, Global Goon and even recent Autechre have lost the "very pleasant and nice" sounds that they once had and gone crazy with manic breakbeats, peculiar melodies and/or infantile samples. For a change, I would like to see more "very pleasant and nice" releases out there. : ) -->-Lance--- p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states
