Check the top of the list at http://soli.inav.net/~kent/music/ For several new tracks of mine since I last posted about my own music. They're reserving a special throne for me in sample clearance hell. http://soli.inav.net/~kent/music/apr22.ram amalgamates Coleman Hawkins (from "April in Paris") and Miles Davis (from the ESP album), along with drums from Bernard Purdie. http://soli.inav.net/~kent/music/apr28.ram has perhaps the fattest, scariest bassline I've ever done. Plus it has samples from XTC (from "The Big Express") and a couple of loops bitten from Florence on Agenda 21/22. Most of the drums are either loops I did in Rebirth, or weird noises from the Soundblaster FM sound card drumkit. http://soli.inav.net/~kent/pornfunk.ram mines Thelonius Monk yet again. http://soli.inav.net/~kent/getmost.ram is based on a bunch of orchestral pizzacatto samples, and various pilfered drum loops. Also includes a sample of a hiphop track I pulled down off of the web, which I've since lost the link to. The guy is saying "Let's separate the mentally rich from the peasants," which I guess is apropos of Tosh's recent post. --------------------------------------------------------------------- "Psyche manifests as psychic through something we call 'winding', because it twists, and puts things that were far apart next to each other, complicatedly, taffywise." -- winona on channel 78 Kent Williams xxxx@xxxx.xxx -- http://soli.inav.net/~kent
